My husband and I dined with my mother in law at your fabulous restaurant on Wednesday evening 19^th January 2011. It was a special occasion. We found the

 waiting staff excellent.  The food was excellent, cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were perfect, freshnesss everything I could go on and on! We have recently returned from 10 days in Australia, we thought the food was pretty good over there, but realized after dining at Aubergine’s the best food is right here in N.Z.  We will definitely be returning.  It is the best restaurant I have been to in a very long time.

I had a really good view of the kitchen where I was sitting and every meal that went up on the food counter looked fantastic.

We ate: Lamb  rump, Chicken Parisien, Surf and Turf ,Gluten Free Chocolate Fudge Cake .

This place has such a great feel about it, right from the staff to the food and now with the introductions of lunch specials and the 38.90 3 course menu the place has got a new life.
I tried the pork belly and my wife had the Fish of the day. Spectacular! is all I can say. I highly  recommend this place to everyone, if you are looking for a nice evening with a good meal this is the place to go."

I prefer the Albany branch over the Takapuna one – it seems a bit quieter in Albany and service is always good. The portion size is generous but leave some room for dessert.

 I went to Aubergine for the first time last week, This place has such a great feel about it, right from the decor to the food to the staff. For the main I had the rack of lamb which was absolutely devine. They also have the BYO option which is a good thing. My friends and I had a great experience and will be going back. I highly recommend this place to everyone, if you are looking for a nice evening with a good meal this is the place to go."
